Lathrop posted their biggest victory since December 29, 2023 on Tuesday. They breezed by Pacheco at home to the tune of 55-28. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Lathrop has posted against Pacheco since January 22, 2022.
Lathrop's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Shakara Porter, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds and two steals. Porter hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for 23 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaleiyah Ray, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
Grace Davis has not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. As for Lathrop, their win bumped their record up to 16-8.
Grace Davis came up short against Lathrop in their previous meeting on January 9th, falling 54-43. Can Grace Davis avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
