Baseball Recap: Pebblebrook Comes Up Short

Pebblebrook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 12-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hiram Hornets. The Falcons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Hornets from their previous meeting back in February of 2025.

Tyler Holmes made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with four stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged two or more in each of the last four games he's played dating back to last season. Sinsaire Walker was another key player, going 2-for-3 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Pebblebrook's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Hiram, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Pebblebrook will venture away from home to challenge Mays at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hiram, they will square off against Rome at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
