Zoey Hinkle and Arseama Kibrom secure win for Del Mar

Recap: Del Mar Dons vs. Hill Falcons

The Del Mar Dons entered their tilt with the Hill Falcons with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. Del Mar took down the Falcons 41-26 on Tuesday. The score was all tied up 18-18 at the break, but Del Mar was the (much) better team in the second half.

Del Mar was led to victory by Zoey Hinkle and Arseama Kibrom. Hinkle dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds, while Kibrom scored 12 points along with eight assists and three steals. Hinkle hasn't dropped below 11 rebounds for four straight games. Moana Tulua was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with seven rebounds.

Del Mar is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Hill, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-11.

Del Mar will be playing in front of their home fans against the Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Westmont and the Dons are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Hill, they will head out on the road to challenge the Acorns at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Live Oak will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
