Cape Cod RVT took a 15-run defeat the last time they faced off against Upper Cape Cod RVT, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Crusaders skirted past the Rams 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Crusaders have posted since May 5, 2025.

The win made it two in a row for Cape Cod RVT and bumps their season record up to 6-7. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Upper Cape Cod RVT, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Cape Cod RVT will challenge rival Norfolk County Agricultural at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
