Basketball Game Preview: Antioch Panthers vs. Berkeley Yellowjackets

The Antioch Panthers will head out to square off against the Berkeley Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Antioch is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 61 points on Thursday, they were much more limited against Pinole Valley on Saturday. They were beaten by the Spartans 62-19. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-7.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Berkeley). They breezed by San Lorenzo to the tune of 56-15 on Friday. The win was some much needed relief for the Yellowjackets as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Berkeley's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-12. As for Antioch, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.
