Softball Recap: Tupelo Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Tupelo's offense. They fell 3-0 to the Ada Cougars on Saturday. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost three in a row.

Tupelo's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Ada, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-7-2 record this season.

Tupelo didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-2 victory against Coleman on the 8th. As for Ada, they have also already played their next game, a 12-2 defeat against Plainview on the 8th.
