Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Upper Merion Area). They enjoyed a cozy 61-44 win over the Pottstown Trojans on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Vikings sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Despite the loss, Pottstown still got an impressive performance from Jayanna Hill, who posted 31 points. That was a full 70.5% of Pottstown's points, marking the 11th time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points. Ja-Nyai White was another key player, putting up eight points.

Upper Merion Area's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.6 points per game. As for Pottstown, they moved to 6-5 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
