Soccer Game Preview: Amador vs. El Dorado

The Amador Buffaloes will challenge the El Dorado Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Amador's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Amador turned things around against Union Mine on Friday. They and the Diamondbacks finished up their contest with a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Buffaloes have been dealt a draw since back in December of 2024.

Meanwhile, El Dorado was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against Bradshaw Christian, falling 3-0. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Cougars couldn't quite close it out.

Amador's draw gives them a new season record of 1-6-2. As for El Dorado, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5-1.
