Basketball Recap: Parkland Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Parkland, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They secured a 56-51 W over the Louis E. Dieruff Huskies on Thursday. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 137th, while the Huskies are ranked 290th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Parkland's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Louis E. Dieruff, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Parkland will square off against Cumberland Valley at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Louis E. Dieruff, they will venture away from home to face off against East Stroudsburg North at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
