Softball Recap: St. Charles West's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three contests, St. Charles West finally came back down to earth on Monday. They lost 16-1 to the Fort Zumwalt North Panthers. The loss was the Warriors' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, St. Charles West fell to 3-1. As for Fort Zumwalt North, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Charles West will face off against Holt at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fort Zumwalt North, they will host Fort Zumwalt South at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 11.5 runs per game this season.
