Softball Recap: St. Francis Wins Going Away Against Coahulla Creek

St. Francis came out on top against Coahulla Creek on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run first inning. The Knights walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Colts. That looming 7-2 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Knights yet this season.

The win made it two in a row for St. Francis and bumps their season record up to 3-1. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Coahulla Creek, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.

St. Francis will be playing at home against King's Ridge Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Coahulla Creek, they will welcome Southeast Whitfield County at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
