Softball Recap: Westlake Takes a Loss

Westlake lost against Chapel Hill back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Lions came up short against the Panthers, falling 30-2. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Westlake's loss dropped their record down to 3-3-1. As for Chapel Hill, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-14 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westlake will challenge McDonough at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Warhawks have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17.45 runs per game on average), something the Lions will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Chapel Hill, they will square off against East Coweta at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
