Game recap: Barnesville High School Football Team defeats Pelican Rapids

PELICAN RAPIDS, Minn. - Barnesville (Minn.) took the final lead of the game on Saturday as Michael Strand ran for a touchdown with 6:00 remaining, bringing the team to victory over Pelican Rapids (Minn.) 28-21.

The two teams were tied at 14 heading into halftime. The Trojans took the lead for good on a touchdown run by Strand in the fourth quarter.

Travis Haugen played well for the Vikings. The junior wide receiver ran for one touchdown and caught one touchdown.

Strand was the top performer for Barnesville. The junior running back ran for three touchdowns.

Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 44-3 win for BHS.
