After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three matches, Madrid finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They fell just short of the Creston Panthers by a score of 2-1. Madrid's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Madrid's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4-2. As for Creston, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.

Coming up, Madrid is taking a road trip to take on Nevada at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Nevada will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Madrid surely won't give up without a fight. As for Creston, they have already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Boone on the 1st.
