Football Recap: Western Beaver's Undefeated Season over After Eight Games

Western Beaver played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 40-20 to the Mohawk Area Warriors. The game marked the Golden Beavers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Mohawk Area found their leader in freshman Lucas Stratton, who rushed for 127 yards and two touchdowns. Stratton showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 55 yards. Bobby Fadden got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Having lost for the first time this season, Western Beaver fell to 7-1. As for Mohawk Area, their record now sits at 3-5.
