Fall Mountain is headed into the contest having just posted their closest win since October 22, 2024 on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Mascoma 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Royals: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Merrimack Valley came up short against Stark on Saturday and fell 3-1. The Pride have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Merrimack Valley's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Fall Mountain, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8.
