Soccer Recap: Gainesville Beats North Gwinnett for Their Third Straight Victory

Gainesville gave up the first goal on Wednesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They had just enough and edged the North Gwinnett Bulldogs out 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Red Elephants sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Brayan Turcios and Kevin Manzo scored both of Gainesville's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Gainesville's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-0. As for North Gwinnett, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gainesville will square off against Lumpkin County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Gainesville's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for North Gwinnett, they will take on Roswell at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
