Softball Recap: West Laurens' Undefeated Season over After Three Games

After flying high against Houston County on Thursday, West Laurens came back down to earth. The Raiders came up short against the Vidalia Indians on Friday, falling 9-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Raiders have suffered since September 7, 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, West Laurens fell to 2-1. As for Vidalia, they moved to 2-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Coming up, West Laurens will face off against Toombs County at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Vidalia, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Harlem at 12:00 p.m.
