Softball Recap: Stratford Academy Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Stratford Academy's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 9-0 to the Westfield School Hornets, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Stratford Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lilly Hill, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Stratford Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Westfield School, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stratford Academy will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Calvary Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Westfield School, they will host Emanuel County Institute at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
