Soccer Recap: Golden Valley Takes a Loss

Golden Valley and Taft squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Golden Valley had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Taft Wildcats by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, the Bulldogs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Golden Valley has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season. As for Taft, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-9.

As of now, neither Golden Valley nor Taft have any future games scheduled.
