Soccer Recap: Clovis Takes a Loss

Despite a strong season so far, Clovis has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Roswell Coyotes. Clovis were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Roswell earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Clovis' goal came courtesy of Irving Mendoza, which was the first he's scored this season.

Clovis' defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Roswell, with the victory, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 12-8.

As of now, neither Clovis nor the Coyotes have any future games scheduled.
