West Springfield is 9-1 against Robinson since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Spartans will welcome the Rams at 6:30 p.m.

On Friday, West Springfield came up short against Lake Braddock and fell 5-1. The Spartans have struggled against the Bruins recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Robinson rose to the challenge on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Wolves an 11-0 shutout. That 11-run margin sets a new team best for the Rams this season.

The win made it two in a row for Robinson and bumps their season record up to 8-15. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for West Springfield, their loss dropped their record down to 12-12.
