Softball Recap: Boone Central Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Boone Central's offense. They came up short against the O'Neill Eagles on Saturday, falling 11-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Cardinals in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost seven in a row.

Boone Central's loss dropped their record down to 12-11. As for O'Neill, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-11 record this season.

Boone Central has already played their next contest, an 8-5 win against Guardian Angels Central Catholic on the 29th. As for O'Neill, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 14-2 victory against South Sioux City on the 30th.
