Basketball Recap: Galt Comes Up Short

If Galt was riding high fresh off their 40-18 takedown of Bradshaw Christian last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The match between the Galt Warriors and the Amador Buffaloes didn't end well, with the Galt Warriors falling 36-21. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-14 back in January.

Paola Corral was Galt's leading scorer, having posted six points. Allison Garcia held things down on the boards with seven rebounds.

Galt has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-20 record this season. As for Amador, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-11.

Galt will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Argonaut at 7:00 p.m. As for Amador, they are taking a road trip to challenge Union Mine at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
