Basketball Recap: Franklin Skates Past Titusville with Ease

There's no place like home for Franklin, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They blew past the Titusville Rockets, posting a 49-17 victory. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Rockets: they've now won six in a row.

Leading Franklin to victory were Katie Boal and Jadyn Blum. Boal dropped a double-double with 21 points and 15 boards, while Blum posted 15 points and six steals. Boal has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 16 times she's played. Hailey Hanna was another key player, putting up five points.

Franklin's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.8 points over those games. As for Titusville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Coming up, Franklin will head out on the road to challenge Oil City at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Titusville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
