Soccer Game Preview: Franklin vs. Eagle Rock

Franklin hasn't had much luck against Eagle Rock recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Panthers will square off against the Eagles at 4:30 p.m.

It was a proper cat-fight when Franklin faced off against Lincoln on Friday. The Panthers and the Tigers finished up their matchup with a 3-3 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Franklin's first draw of the season.

Meanwhile, Eagle Rock kept a clean sheet against Bravo on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over the Knights. Fans of Eagle Rock have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 3+ goals.

Eagle Rock's win bumped their record up to 8-0. Franklin's draw makes their record 3-5-1 this season.

Franklin suffered a grim 6-0 defeat to Eagle Rock in their previous matchup back in January of 2025. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
