Basketball Recap: Notre Dame (SO) Takes a Loss

Notre Dame (SO) was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 50-49 heartbreaker at the hands of the Holy Martyrs Armenian Armens.

Notre Dame (SO) lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Zi Kennybrew, who posted 14 points along with seven boards and three steals. That's the most steals Kennybrew has posted since back in December of 2024. Siena Ostick was another key player, going 5 for 12 en route to 11 points and eight rebounds.

Notre Dame (SO)'s defeat dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Holy Martyrs Armenian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season.

Notre Dame (SO) has already played their next contest, a 64-25 loss against Harvard-Westlake on the 3rd. As for Holy Martyrs Armenian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 49-48 victory against Yeshiva University of Los Angeles (YULA) on the 3rd.
