Softball Recap: Cambridge Takes a Loss

After flying high against Lassiter on Wednesday, Cambridge came back down to earth. The Bears came up short against the Creekview Grizzlies on Thursday, falling 10-1. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Bears, who until this contest were averaging 4.04 runs allowed.

Cambridge saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Becker, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Cambridge has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-6 record this season. As for Creekview, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-4.

As of now, neither Cambridge nor the Grizzlies have any future games scheduled.
