Volleyball Game Preview: Hanford Bullpups vs. Lemoore Tigers + How To Watch

Hanford is 2-8 against Lemoore since October of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Bullpups are taking a road trip to take on the Tigers at 6:30 p.m. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Hanford sitting on four straight victories and Lemoore on 11.

On Tuesday, Hanford got the win against Mission Oak by a conclusive 3-0.

Hanford was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-23, 25-23.

Hanford's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Miranda Kunz, who had 21 digs. Kunz is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 11 games she's played. Daniela Rodriguez was another key player, getting eight digs and three aces.

Hanford was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in three consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Lemoore made easy work of Tulare Western on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 win.

One reason for the win was Lemoore's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-10, 25-9.

Hanford's record is now 18-11. As for Lemoore, their record now sits at 28-4.

Hanford might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Lemoore when the teams last played on October 7th. Can the Bullpups avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
