Softball Recap: Hollis Comes Up Short

Hollis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 16-15 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hammon Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-4 on Thursday.

Hollis' loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Hammon, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-7.

Coming up, Hollis will venture away from home to take on Hydro-Eakly at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hammon, they will take on Mountain View-Gotebo at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
