Baseball Recap: Mitchell County Takes a Loss

Mitchell County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Baconton Charter Blazers, falling 20-0. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Blazers from their previous meeting back in April of 2022.

Mitchell County's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Baconton Charter, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Mitchell County will head out to take on Baconton Charter at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Baconton Charter, they will square off against Grace Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Baconton Charter's pitching crew has only allowed 1.4 runs per game this season, so Grace Christian Academy's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
