After losing to Kennedy the last time they met, Kenwood decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Broncos walked away with a 7-2 win over the Crusaders on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Broncos.

The team relied heavily on Khaiden Thomas, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Josiah Patterson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs.

Kenwood's victory bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Kennedy, they dropped their record down to 10-15 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, Kenwood will welcome Chicago Hope Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kennedy, they will venture away from home to square off against Lindblom at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
