Softball Game Preview: Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays vs. Winterset Huskies

The Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays will square off against the Winterset Huskies at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Bondurant-Farrar's hitters haven't had much luck over their past four games, but Monday's match will give them a chance to turn things around.

Bondurant-Farrar is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Iowa's top teams: Northwest, who was ranked first at the time (Bondurant-Farrar was ranked 21st). The Bluejays fell just short of the Wolves by a score of 2-0 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Bluejays have suffered since June 20, 2024.

Winterset had lost two consecutive heartbreakers to North Polk and they left with a heavy heart again on Saturday. The Huskies lost 10-0 to the Comets. The Huskies haven't had much luck with the Comets recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Bondurant-Farrar's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Winterset, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-9.
