Basketball Recap: Shalom Christian Academy Extends Winning Streak to Four

Shalom Christian Academy waltzed into their matchup on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 45-36 victory over the McConnellsburg Spartans. That's more bragging rights for the Flames, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Shalom Christian Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Maya Lehman out in front who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine boards. That's the most rebounds Lehman has posted since back in February of 2024. Addison Adams was another key player, putting up 17 points in addition to seven assists and six boards.

Shalom Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for McConnellsburg, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shalom Christian Academy has already played their next game (against West Shore Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. McConnellsburg has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Southern Fulton.
