Soccer Recap: Edison Comes Up Short

Edison lost against The Linsly School on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wildcats lost 10-1 to the Cadets. While losing is never fun, Edison can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 532nd in Ohio, while The Linsly School are ranked 52nd in West Virginia).

Edison's goal came courtesy of Noah Lucas, who's now up to three this season.

Edison is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6. As for The Linsly School, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Looking ahead, Edison will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Oak Glen at 6:00 p.m. As for The Linsly School, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Wheeling Park at 8:00 p.m. on October 2.
