Baseball Game Preview: Schaumburg Saxons vs. Conant Cougars

For the second straight game, Schaumburg will face off against Conant. The Saxons will square off against the Cougars at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Schaumburg will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.

Schaumburg will bounce into Saturday's contest after beating Conant, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Saxons came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 11-6 on Friday. That's two games straight that the Saxons have won by exactly five runs.

For Conant's part, Jacob Szpiganowicz was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
