Baseball Recap: Kellogg Comes Up Short

Kellogg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Bridgman Bees, falling 7-0. Considering the last time the Panthers couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Kellogg's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Bridgman, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-10.

Kellogg has already played their next matchup (against Schoolcraft), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Bridgman, they will square off against Decatur at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bees' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Raiders have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season.
