Basketball Recap: The Christian Academy Takes a Loss

The Christian Academy lost against Delaware County Christian back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Christian Academy took a 43-27 bruising from the Delaware County Christian Knights. While losing is never fun, The Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 673rd, while Delaware County Christian is ranked 218th).

The Christian Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season. As for Delaware County Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. The Christian Academy will welcome Coventry Christian at 6:30 p.m. on February 6th. As for Delaware County Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Jenkintown at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
