Football Recap: Erie Falls to Eureka in First Game of Season

Erie kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They were beaten by the Eureka Tornadoes 36-0. The Red Devils haven't had much luck with the Tornadoes recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Eureka had a senior duo take command as Peyton Hare rushed for 98 yards and one score on only five carries and Tj Mills gained 78 total yards and three touchdowns.

Erie didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 52-6 defeat against Caney Valley on the 12th. As for Eureka, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 44-14 victory against Fredonia/Elk Valley on the 12th.
