Soccer Recap: Islands Takes a Loss

Islands was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Cambridge Bears.

Islands' goal came courtesy of Jack Stephans, who's now up to four this season.

Islands now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Cambridge, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Islands didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 10-0 victory against Beach on the 25th. As for Cambridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 10-0 win against Glynn Academy on the 22nd.
