Soccer Game Preview: Columbus vs. Mid-Prairie

The Columbus Wildcats will face off against the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

It was a proper cat-fight when Columbus challenged Mt. Pleasant on Monday. The Wildcats lost 9-0 to the Panthers. Columbus have struggled against Mt. Pleasant recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, Mid-Prairie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against West Liberty, falling 10-0.

Columbus now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Mid-Prairie, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
