Baseball Recap: Laconia Comes Up Short

Laconia came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Hanover Marauders, falling 15-2. The Sachems have struggled against the Marauders recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Laconia's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Hanover, their win bumped their record up to 11-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Laconia will face off against rival Pembroke at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Hanover is set to square off against their familiar foe Hollis-Brookline at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Marauders 3.6, the Cavaliers 1.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
