Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Minarets). Everything went their way against the Sierra Chieftains on Friday as the Minarets Mustangs made off with an 11-1 victory. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 7-0.

Minarets' win bumped their record up to 7-4-1. As for Sierra, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Minarets will welcome Parlier at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Minarets is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.6 goals per game this season. As for Sierra, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Yosemite at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Sierra is facing Yosemite at the right time seeing as Yosemite is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
