Baseball Recap: Citrus Valley Comes Up Short

Citrus Valley and Irvine squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Citrus Valley had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Vaqueros by a score of 3-2.

Citrus Valley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tristan Garcia-Rojas, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Citrus Valley now has a losing record of 14-15. As for Irvine, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-13 record this season.

As of now, neither Citrus Valley nor Irvine have any future games scheduled.
