Soccer Game Preview: Minarets vs. Roosevelt

The Minarets Mustangs will head out on the road to take on the Roosevelt Rough Riders at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Minarets' tournament run continued when they took on Fowler on Thursday. The Mustangs took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Redcats.

Minarets' goal came courtesy of Devon Menchaca, who's now up to eight this season.

Meanwhile, while the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Hanford West who was credited with the victory on Saturday. The Huskies got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to Roosevelt's three. Roosevelt have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Minarets, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3-2.
