Basketball Recap: Vista Falls Despite Big Games from Isabella Mosley and Jordyn Lowe

Vista was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 47-28 bruising from Mission Vista. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Mission Vista this season, with their most recent loss being a 46-45 defeat back in January.

Vista's loss came despite strong showings from Jordyn Lowe and Isabella Mosley. Lowe dropped a double-double with 11 points and 11 boards, while Mosley posted ten points and five rebounds.

Jordynn Rogers was the offensive standout of the contest as she put up 14 points. Alycia Rankin was another key player, putting up eight points.

Vista's loss dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Mission Vista, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-12 record this season.

Vista has already played their next game, a 47-39 win against San Dieguito Academy on the 12th. As for Mission Vista, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 39-26 victory against El Camino on the 12th.
