Volleyball Recap: Unity Christian Takes a Loss

Unity Christian was the 2-0 winner over Metro W when they last played one another on Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. While the Knights didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Warriors 25-17 in the first set.

Unity Christian started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 25-14, 15-13.

Unity Christian dropped their record down to 9-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Metro W, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Unity Christian will venture away from home to challenge East Moline Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Metro W does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
