Football Recap: Eureka's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

After flying high against Fredonia/Elk Valley last Friday, Eureka came back down to earth. The Tornadoes fell 14-8 to the Cherryvale Chargers on Friday. The Tornadoes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Eureka fell to 2-1. As for Cherryvale, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Coming up, Eureka will head out to take on Humboldt at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cherryvale, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Riverton on Friday.
