El Camino Real is 9-0-1 against Taft since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The El Camino Real Royals will look to defend their home pitch against the Taft Toreadors at 4:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Monday, El Camino Real didn't have quite enough to beat Cleveland and fell 2-1. The loss continues a trend for the Royals in their matchups with the Cavaliers: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Taft kept a clean sheet against Chatsworth on Monday. They skirted past the Chancellors 1-0. The Toreadors wouldn't have won without Maayan Nehoray, who scored the game-winner.

The win made it two in a row for Taft and bumps their season record up to 2-14-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two games. As for El Camino Real, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6-3.

Everything went El Camino Real's way against Taft when the teams last played back in January, as El Camino Real made off with a 4-0 victory. Does El Camino Real have another victory up their sleeve, or will Taft turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
