Softball Recap: Redan Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

If Redan was riding high fresh off their 15-0 takedown of Cedar Grove on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Raiders fell 19-14 to the Columbia Eagles on Thursday. The Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

SALIMATOU DIALLU was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. JALYN BEY was another key player, going 1-for-2 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Redan's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-2. As for Columbia, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Redan didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 22-2 loss against South Atlanta on the 4th. As for Columbia, they have also already played their next match, a 42-23 victory against Salem on the 4th.
